terms and conditions 2026 soul club student society “spin to win”

1. the promoter 
the promoter of the soul club student society spin to win promotion ("promotion") is wagamama limited, company number 02605751, registered office address 5-7 marshalsea road, london, england, se1 1ep ("promoter", "we" or "us"). 

2. the promotion 
2.1 the promotion is free to enter and is an instant win promotion offering participants the opportunity to win one of the prizes described in clause 5 below.   
2.2 by entering the promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and you agree that our decision is final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion. if  you fail to comply with these terms and conditions your entry will be void. 

3. how to enter 
3.1 the promotion will run from 15 september 2026 until 7 october 2026 inclusive ("promotion period"). the promotion is a physical “spin to win” promotion and takes place at the following university freshers fairs on the dates indicated in the table below: 

  • glasgow university - 15/09/26 

  • bristol university - 18/09/26 

  • edinburgh university - 18/09/26 

  • birmingham university - 21/09/26 

  • liverpool university - 24/09/26 

  • bournemouth university - 26/09/26 

  • manchester met - 29/09/26 

  • cardiff university - 02/10/26 

  • ucl - 03/10/26 

  • oxford university - 07/10/26 


3.2 entry is available exclusively to registered soul club members. to register, download the official “soul club” app and follow the sign-up instructions.  
3.3 to enter, eligible soul club members must spin the wheel at one of the university freshers fairs listed in the table at 3.1 above.   
3.4 each eligible soul club member will receive a maximum of one (1) spin during the promotion period. 
3.5 winners will be determined instantly by the spin to win mechanic. 
3.6 no purchase is necessary to participate. 
 

4. eligibility 
4.1 the promotion is open to registered soul club members resident in the uk aged 16 years or over, excluding: 

  • employees of the promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; 

  • employees of agents or suppliers of the promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the promotion or its administration; or 

  • members of the immediate families or households of the above. 
     

4.2 by entering the promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize won. the promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the promotion including proof of age, identity and student status.  we reserve the right to refuse entries if you are unable to do so.   

5. the prizes 
5.1 participants may win one of the following prizes: 

  • one (1) free side reward (approximately 100 prizes available at each freshers fair): valid for 31 days from date of issue when dining in at a participating wagamama restaurant in the uk (excludes airports and service stations), can be used alongside other soul club rewards where applicable eligibility criteria is met, cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts; 

  • one (1) free koko prawn crackers reward (approximately 100 prizes available at each freshers fair): valid for 31 days from date of issue when dining in at a participating wagamama restaurant in the uk (excludes airports and service stations), can be used alongside other soul club rewards where applicable eligibility criteria is met, cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts; 

  • one (1) of up to 180 t-shirts per freshers fair with two designs to choose from, subject to availability, first come first served, only size Medium available; 

  • one (1) of up to 240 caps per freshers fair, subject to availability, first come first served, one size fits all; 

  • one (1) of up to 50 wagamama cookbooks per freshers fair, subject to availability, first come first served.   

5.2 if a participant does not win a prize, the “spin to win” mechanic will indicate that no prize has been won ("no prize"). 
5.3 merchandise prizes will be fulfilled by a third party and are subject to availability and sizing and are offered on a first come, first served basis.   
5.4 prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. 
5.5 the promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. 
5.6 the prize cannot be replaced if it becomes lost, damaged or stolen. 

6. winners 
6.1 reward prizes will be issued to winning participants at the relevant freshers fair in the form of physical vouchers. 
6.2 merchandise prizes will be issued to winning participants at the relevant freshers fair. 
6.3 the decision of the promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. 

7. claiming prizes 
7.1 the prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. 
7.2 the promoter will not pay any expenses incurred in connection with the promotion, including acceptance and use of the prize.  

8. limitation of liability 
8.1 nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. subject to this, the promoter, its agents and their employees shall not be liable in any circumstances for loss, damage, personal injury or death arising from the promotion or acceptance or use of the prize except where caused by their negligence.  your statutory rights are not affected. 
8.2 the promoter accepts no responsibility for (a) any cancellation, postponement or alteration of the promotion; (b) any use of the prize; or (iii) any act or default of any third-party supplier. 

9. data protection and publicity 
9.1 by entering the promotion, participants are providing their personal information to the promoter. we will, at all times, process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, the uk data protection act 2018, and applicable laws. 

10. general 
10.1 the promoter may, at its sole discretion, exclude from the promotion any participant who breaches these terms and conditions. 
10.2 the promoter reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend the promotion where necessary. 
10.3 these terms are governed by english law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of england.  if any entrants to the promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the united kingdom.
